anchor groups
we grow as jesus-followers when we are in community
Check out an anchor group
Anchor Groups are open and growing groups that meet throughout the South Sound during the week to develop lasting relationships, talk about who God is, and what it looks like to follow Him. Our groups are open, meaning there are no prerequisites to joining. No matter who you are, you’re welcome.
Groups are growing. Once a group gets big enough, it will multiply and start another group to create more room for newcomers.
Mark your calendars for fall Anchor Group Launches happening on Sunday, September 22nd!
what to expect
Growth happens when we’re in community with each other. At an Anchor Group, you can expect to be with other imperfect people, develop lasting relationships, share good food, and grow as you engage in meaningful conversation where your thoughts are valued. You’ll learn about Jesus and experience caring for one another like he does.

Have another question? We’d love to speak with you.
Most Anchor Groups launch in the fall and continue through May, taking on a different rhythm during the summer. That can mean spontaneous meet-ups, social gatherings, or taking part in any of several summer connections opportunities in the larger Anchor community. You’ll also see short-term Anchor Groups throughout the year that focus on helpful themes like marriage, emotional health, or other topics.
Anchor Groups are open, meaning there are no prerequisites and there’s always room. Feel free to invite a friend! Give your host a heads up will make sure they’re ready to welcome them. As Anchor Groups grow in size, they form new groups so that newcomers can always find a place to belong.
Anchor Groups have a variety of different looks. You’ll find groups for men, women, or both, young adults, empty-nesters, young moms, and multi-generations. Some Anchor Groups have child care available and will indicate that in their group description. If you’re not sure, reach out or contact the Anchor Group leader.
