Church Planting
Anchor is a growing community seeking to plant churches that are each committed to the same vision and values, while contextualizing each congregation’s ministry to the neighborhoods they serve.
It has been repeatedly shown that planting churches is the most effective way to help people come to trust in the transforming message of Jesus. We want to see new Jesus-centered communities planted around Tacoma, the greater South Sound and beyond.
Tacoma & south sound partnerships
Anchor partners with several organizations serving vulnerable populations in various ways. Each has a vision and values that deeply align with Anchor. It’s our joy to recommend them to friends in need, who want to find opportunities to serve, or both.
Youth for Christ
Youth For Christ reaches young people everywhere, working together with the local church and other like-minded partners to raise up lifelong followers of Jesus.
World Relief Seattle
World Relief opens opportunities for people with a heart to serve others less fortunate than themselves.
Rescue Mission
Tacoma Rescue Mission provides the homeless with several life-changing services.
The Coffee Oasis
The Coffee Oasis is changing the world for homeless youth in one community after another through a strategic continuum of services supported by sustainable coffee businesses.
