Good grows

A note from pastor bryan
Seven years ago, Anchor was fifteen people holding on by faith. What we had was prayer, Scripture, and the hope that God might do something real among us
He did.
Over time, we have seen lives restored.
Faith rekindled.
Families healed.
People who once felt far from God finding their way home.
Good has taken root in our city—and it has reached farther than we ever expected.
Good Grows Here names this season in the life of Anchor Church. It is a way of telling the truth about where God has brought us and listening carefully for where He is calling us next.
This campaign is about faithfulness. About stewarding what God has entrusted to us so that more people can encounter the life of Jesus.
As part of this vision, we are stepping toward tangible next steps, including plans for a new auditorium and an expanded Anchor Kids space. These are not the point. They are meant to serve the work God is already doing and make room for those still to come.
This is a moment for our whole church.
To pay attention.
To respond with trust.
To move forward together.

An altar to bless the world
When God establishes a church in a particular place, He is doing more than forming a community of worship. In Scripture, worship is never contained. It overflows.
In Ezekiel’s vision, water pours from the altar—first a trickle, then a river—bringing life everywhere it goes. This is how God works. True worship heals what is broken and sends blessing downstream into families, neighborhoods, and cities.
Since Anchor was planted, we’ve seen this kind of fruit. Nearly a million dollars has been given locally and globally. People have come to faith. Marriages have been restored. Children have been discipled. Leaders have been sent. What began at an altar has flowed outward.
Good Grows Here is not about building bigger for its own sake. It is about preserving and extending a place where worship can continue to form people—and through them, bless the world.
This campaign is a generational opportunity: to offer what we have to God and trust Him to send living water far beyond these walls.

Project goal: $8 million
To create a permanent home for Anchor Kids and build a new auditorium on the adjacent field—spaces designed for worship, discipleship, spiritual formation, and mission for generations to come. This project will be funded through a combination of generous giving and a loan.

Yes. Commitments to Good Grows Here are separate from regular tithes and offerings, which continue to support Anchor’s ongoing ministry and mission.
No. Our commitment to generosity, church planting, and serving others remains central to who we are. In fact, we believe this project will enlarge our capacity to bless the city.
