IN great awe

Ordinary people & the power of god
So often our vision narrows to the immediate—what’s urgent, visible, and pressing. But beyond our line of sight, God has been moving across generations, cultures, and continents, weaving a story far greater than we can see. And too often, we miss it.
In Great Awe invites you back into that story.
Gather with others from across the PNW for In Great Awe: Ordinary People & the Power of God, a weekend conference hosted by Anchor Church and Anchor College in Tacoma, Washington, October 23–24, 2026.
Special guests Bruce and Carolyn Hindmarsh and Zachary Meerkreebs will share powerful moments from the past and present history of the Church—stories of ordinary people who were moved by God in extraordinary ways. Through teaching, storytelling, and worship, you’ll be invited to rediscover a living, active God who still calls, fills, and awakens his people to join in his redemptive work in the world.

Zach is grateful to be married to Kristin and proud to be the father of three girls: Eden, Esther, and Mercy. He has served in multiple roles within the church, church planting, campus ministry, and global missions. In February 2023, he had a front-row seat for a unique encounter with God that many call the Asbury Outpouring. Zach now travels to speak & encourage at conferences, campuses, and churches. In addition to preaching, Zach helped launch and now leads the Barnabas Collective, authored his first book, "Lower," and recently completed his doctoral work at Asbury Theological Seminary.
